I finished reading both "Angels and Demons" and "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the "The Da Vinci Code." "Angels and Demons" has more suspense and more surprises. I recommend reading "Angels and Demons" before reading "The Da Vinci Code." It will give you more info on Robert Langdon (the main character of both books) and some background info. I wish the author would have incorporated Vittoria a little more in "The Da Vinci Code." I usually don't read suspense/thriller books. If time wasn't an issue, I would have read the books straight through.
I'm going to have to take a copy of "The Da Vinci Code" with me to Lebanon. The book was banned by the Lebanese government after receiving complaints from Catholic leaders. What happened to freedom of press in Lebanon? The country obviously took a step backwards.
I'm still reading "Map of the World" and "Long Walk to Freedom and just started reading "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran.
