No Nancy :(
I'm going to miss seeing Nancy yet again. I don't think I'm meant to see her. That's okay. I'll be someplace better hanging out with the salaamers in D.C. :) I do have a ticket I'm trying to get rid of. Anyone want to see Nancy in Rosemont, IL. Concert starts at 9 p.m. Row 202 Section C.
I'm also trying to plan a trip to Syria and Lebanon and maybe Morocco. Like my grandmother (my mom mom's) says, "you can't be in the neighborhood and not visit." She is my absolute favorite! My mom is planning on going back to Lebanon a week or two after I leave for Egypt.
She was excited about expats being able to vote. I don't think she will be able to. There is just way too much going on that weekend. And Chicago is at least 3-3.5 hours away. If only they had absentee ballots. I think other Lebanese expats will run into a similar problem.
I don't know if they should have a right to vote in the upcoming elections. The number of expats far exceeds the Lebanese locals. If all the expats when out and voted they would be the ones to determine Lebanon's future. I don't think that is fair to the locals who live there. They have to live with the outcome.

The seats are pretty good, you forgot to mention that its next to me and Akiner.
Remember you will be in Egypt and hopefully will have other opportunities to see Arabic concerts and Haflas. If you see Amr Diab in concert, blow him a kiss from me... :) and take pics too.
I don't get the voting thing, are you saying that mom has to go to Chicago to vote? Your blog is one mixture of 10 topics...
I purposely wrote it this way to confuse you.
:P
