2 Weeks 2 Days To Go

Time is flying by and I'm nowhere near half of my list. I achieved a lot this past week.

Mukatam twice - Once with Dody, Zeead and Megan walking around and another night with close friends, the next generation of AIESEC Egypt leaders, and new trainees awaiting their new adventure in Cairo. It's been great to meet all of the new trainees and remembering how it was a year ago when I first arrived in Cairo, adapting to a new place and starting an amazing experience. Well, the experience is almost over but the memories will be with me forever. Somedays, it's tough imagining that I will be gone soon, but a new adventure is waiting for me, one that I am extremely excited about.

Horseback Riding - My first experience horse back riding a year ago was definitely not the greatest experience and pretty much led to my fear of riding a horse again, but with the encouragement of a couple of friends, I took my first horseback riding lession. I only wish I would have done this sooner and recommend anyone coming here to take a few lessions. My instructor was really awesome and within a few minutes I felt totally comfortable and not afraid that I was going to fall off. I only wish I could have gotten Warda to trot, maybe next time. I will definitely have to find a place to ride in my next home.

The Whirling Dervish Dace Show (Sufi Dancers) - They were absolutely amazing. I have no idea how these guys can continuously twirl. It's incredible to watch and if you ever get the chance you have to see this show.

Mohamed Ali Club - A day at the pool is all you need to cool off from the hot sun...I just hope it wasn't my last time there.

Blogging - You have to admit it's better than before

Ame and Simona's going away party - the last ones I'll have to say goodbye to

Still need to find time for the 4 a.m. drive, Khan Khalili, Al Azhar Park, walking through city, sunset over the nile, one last time at Cilantro's, Tornado's, and Abu Rami's, ordering from the deliver guy for the first and last time, one last time at Cairo Jazz Club and Nomad, one last time at AUC, one last time annoying the hell out of Askoura, one last night at Kaitlin's, one last meeting with Kaitlin, one last time with having a cleaning lady (I will miss you), one last time at the neighborhood shop, one last pizza at the bakary next to the office, one last visa renewal and trip to Mogamma, one last meeting with Maggie (I will miss them), and many more lasts to go.


It's going to be a crazy couple of weeks :)
